The 2U Tour - A Tech Show...and Then Some

There are plenty of technology expos to attend. You likely receive regular invitations to networking events. Maybe you've heard your share of sales and marketing experts.

But how often do you get all three in one place, in an incredible venue in your region, and at no charge to attend? If the answer is a lot — congrats !— tell us your secret!

If this isn't common, then you'll appreciate BlueStar's 2U Tour, an event designed for discovery —a more intimate, hands-on hardware expo, with a bit of education, and a casual, fun environment for networking and building new relationships.

We've been running our updated version of the tour since the pandemic, first as a literal roadshow with a truck and trailer pulling into parking lots for a safe, socially distanced experience at a time when big, multi-day tradeshows couldn't happen, and evolving into a yearly, multi-city experience across the US and Canada, setting up shop in sports venues, unique cultural spots, and one-of-a-kind experiences.

This year, we've already taken a skyline cruise in Miami, indulged in fine art and spirits at the Distillery of Modern Art near Atlanta, and played games of chance (alongside real business wins!) at Le Crystal in Montreal.

If those videos aren't convincing enough, here's why you should attend a 2U Tour stop near you.

  1. One Day of Your Time. We target these events at VARs, MSPs, and ISVs (both current and potential partners) that are within driving distance of the venue. They typically start in the afternoon and run on an efficient schedule: check-in, a brief SME talk, a tech expo, and networking (with food and drinks), concluding by 8 or 9 PM. We know you're busy and won't ask for a multi-day excursion away from your business.
  2. You Won't Feel Overwhelmed. Big national trade shows can be exhausting, with hundreds of exhibitors, too many educational and panel choices, and overcrowded evening events. We only bring 20 of our partners, so it's easy to see each one and spend time reviewing their solutions and your business needs. We also cap attendance to prevent large crowds and maintain an environment conducive to meaningful discussion.
  3. Get Hands-On With the Latest Tech. Those 20 partners bring their A-game to these events, featuring the latest hardware, solution-strengthening software, and recurring revenue ideas to help you achieve greater success. You might be one of the first to touch and see hot new products!
  4. We Bring Our Best. Not only do you get representatives from our sponsoring vendors, but we also bring the best crew in the channel to keep the event running smoothly and help you with anything you don't see at the show.
  5. Education That Matters. Anyone can dole out business and marketing tips. We make a point to bring you expertise that understands the channel and the unique role your business plays in it. This year, we've been discussing social media and AI at our stops, explaining how you can elevate your game to stand out, draw attention, create your personal brand, and utilize AI in practical ways, with no prior experience in marketing or graphic design required.
  6. Did We Mention It's Free??? All you need to do is register for the event and show up. The food, drinks, entertainment, and experience are on us! No costly exhibition pass, no registration fees, and no pricey extras to experience the fun stuff. Just take a moment to thank our sponsors for their time and resources.

If you're interested in joining the Tour, bookmark this page to stay updated on upcoming stops for the rest of this year and register as they become available. Miss a stop or wish we were coming a little closer? Drop us a note with your location, and we'll look into booking a stop closer to your neck of the woods in the future! (If you know some really cool, affordable venues that everyone would love, that's a bonus, too!)
